Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Scouty. Please read them, especially the rules on sending outreach.
Scouty is a product of Nudgen LLC, United States. In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Nudgen LLC.
Business address: 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, United StatesContact: [email protected]
1. The service
Scouty helps you find businesses to sell to and reach them: it researches your website, suggests campaigns, finds companies and decision makers, drafts emails, sends the ones you approve and can book meetings on a calendar you connect. By creating an account or using Scouty, you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms, personally or for the business you represent.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been used without your permission.
3. Sending outreach responsibly
You decide who to contact and you approve every email before it is sent. You are the sender, and you're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your outreach — such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR and CASL — including having a lawful basis to contact each person.
Optional automatic follow-up sends only the sequence you reviewed and approved in advance, up to three messages for a new outreach email. Any recipient reply stops that sequence. You can disable future follow-ups; a message already submitted for sending cannot be recalled.
You agree not to use Scouty to:
- send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or messages to people who have asked you to stop;
- send deceptive, misleading, harassing, unlawful or harmful content, or impersonate anyone;
- collect or resell contact data, or use it for anything other than your own outreach;
- probe, overload or work around the limits and security of the service.
We may pause sending or suspend an account that breaks these rules or that harms the service's deliverability for others.
4. Pay-as-you-go billing
When pay-as-you-go billing is enabled, each Scouty account receives $10 in trial credit, shared across campaigns, with no expiry. Existing accounts receive a fresh allowance when billing launches. Past usage is not charged.
Initial outreach and scheduled follow-ups cost US$0.03 per sent email, equivalent to $30 per 1,000 emails. Research, previews, drafting, replies, and system notifications are free. An email counts when the provider confirms sending, including an email that later bounces. Proven non-sends do not count.
Before sending exceeds your available trial credit, we ask you to save a payment method and agree to automatic monthly billing. Nothing is charged at setup. Nudgen LLC charges your saved payment method for actual paid usage each monthly billing period, with no base subscription fee or default spending cap. Remaining trial credit applies to future usage. Applicable taxes and any carried invoice balance are shown on your invoice.
You can stop future paid sending in Billing settings. Already submitted messages may still send, and usage already incurred remains payable. Saving a card or resolving a payment issue does not resume sending until you explicitly choose to resume. Stripe processes payment details; Scouty does not store card numbers.
Questions about charges or a billing correction can be sent to [email protected].
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into Scouty and of the emails you send. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-generated content and data
Summaries, campaign ideas, fit assessments and email drafts are produced by AI and may be wrong or incomplete. Contact details come from third-party data and may be out of date. Review what Scouty produces before relying on it or sending it.
7. Connected services
Some features rely on other services, such as Google Calendar and the mailbox provider that sends your emails. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. You can disconnect your calendar at any time.
8. Changes and availability
We're improving Scouty continuously, so features may change or be removed. We try to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Scouty is provided “as is”. We don't promise any particular number of replies, meetings or sales. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Scouty at any time and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as your responsibilities for outreach you sent, disclaimers and liability limits — continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms and contact
We may update these terms; for material changes we'll let you know by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Scouty afterwards means you accept the updated terms. Questions go to [email protected].
